Find the finest properies in Portals Vells

There is a special atmosphere in the idyllic bay of Cala Portals Vells. It was not for nothing that this place was chosen in 1967 for scenes from the film El Mago (The Magician) with Anthony Quinn. The Playa Portals Vells is framed by rocks and is therefore protected from strong sea winds and water currents. The tranquil marina Port Portals Vells is located on the northern headland, which forms the Bay of Caló dels Reis. Only from here can you see some of the residential and holiday homes in the Portals Vells settlement, which is part of the Sol de Mallorca resort. Around the Cala Portals Vells there is otherwise only a dense pine forest that covers the entire cape that forms part of the south-western tip of Mallorca. Since it is very quiet at Playa Portals Vells even in summer, locals often come here. In the hidden "three-finger cove" of Cala Portals Vells there are three small bathing opportunities. The larger finger bay is called Playa Portal Vells and the two smaller ones are called Cala del Mago and Caló dels Reis. In total, all three bays are about 80 meters long. While the two smaller bathing bays have no infrastructure, there is a beach bar at Playa Portals Vells, where you can enjoy cocktails and buy snacks.
