The small town of Cala Vinyes is located in the western part of the Balearic island of Mallorca and is surrounded by steep rocky cliffs. Cala Vinyes is part of the municipality of Calvia, which begins south of Cala Vinyes and extends from there to the Mediterranean Sea. The next larger town in the vicinity is Magaluf, which is about three kilometers south of Cala Vinyes. Magaluf can be easily reached by car from Cala Vinyes in just five minutes.
